Diabetic Profile
The Diabetic Profile at Agrawal Diagnostic + Health Centre is designed to assess blood sugar control, metabolic health, kidney function, liver enzymes, and other important parameters associated with diabetes. This focused health assessment supports regular monitoring and helps identify changes that may require timely medical attention.
Blood & Laboratory Investigations
Complete Blood Count
CBC evaluates important blood parameters and provides useful information as part of a comprehensive diabetes health assessment.
Blood Sugar Tests
FBS and PLBS measure fasting and post meal blood glucose levels, helping assess current blood sugar control.
Glycosylated Haemoglobin
Glycosylated Hb, also known as HbA1c, provides an indication of average blood glucose levels over the preceding weeks and months.
Cholesterol & Triglycerides
Cholesterol and triglyceride testing helps assess lipid levels, which are important considerations when monitoring overall metabolic and cardiovascular health in people with diabetes.
Liver & Kidney Assessment
SGOT & SGPT
SGOT and SGPT are liver enzymes that help assess liver function as part of the overall metabolic evaluation.
Creatinine
Serum creatinine helps evaluate kidney function, which is particularly important for individuals undergoing regular diabetes monitoring.
Urine Microalbumin
Urine microalbumin testing helps detect small amounts of albumin in the urine and supports assessment of early kidney related changes associated with diabetes.
Additional Investigation
ESR
ESR is included as a general laboratory parameter and may provide supporting information during the overall health assessment.
Who Can Consider a Diabetic Profile?
The profile can be useful for individuals undergoing routine diabetes monitoring, those with known diabetes, and people who require assessment of blood sugar and related metabolic parameters based on medical advice.
